Job Description

Responsibilities:
Responds to property floods and leaks to extract standing water, dry structures, and prevent mold.
Water Extraction:
Remove standing water from flooded structures using pumps, vacuums, and specialized extraction tools.
Equipment Setup:
Place and monitor industrial air movers, dehumidifiers, and air scrubbers to dry affected areas properly.
Demolition & Removal:
Tear out and discard non-salvageable materials like ruined drywall, baseboards, insulation, and carpet padding.
Site Documentation:
Record moisture meter readings, take photos, and track daily progress logs for company records and insurance claims.
Content Pack-Out:
Inventory, pack, and transport a customer's personal belongings safely away from the damage zone. Ability to perform physical tasks that also require the lifting/positioning of heavy equipment Able to work 40+ hours and/or weekends including on call emergency shifts when scheduled Assess extent of damage and establish work scope Perform the removal of building materials as required by industry standards Install & operate mitigation equipment to minimize damages
Qualifications:
Physical Strength:
Ability to lift 50+ pounds, stand for long periods, and perform physical labor.
Driver's License:
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record to drive company vehicles to job sites.
Certifications:
IICRC certifications (like WRT - Water Damage Restoration Technician) are preferred or required after a paid training period.
Availability:
Willingness to work flexible hours, overtime, or join an on-call rotation for emergency flood responses
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$19.00 - $23.00 per hour
