Job Description
Job Title:
Molding Operator Job Description As a Molding Operator, you will be responsible for operating and tending to specified equipment and machines to create parts or products for the medical device industry. Your role will include conducting quality checks, assembling, packaging, labeling, and moving products. You will be moving between the injection mold and assembly areas, performing tasks such as closing the door, pressing go, unloading parts, and basic trimming. The assembly process involves putting together basic plastic medical parts and packaging them. This role requires comfort with repetitive work and experience using microscopes. Responsibilities Operate and tend to specified equipment and machines in the medical device industry. Conduct quality checks, assembly, packaging, labeling, and product movement. Switch between injection mold and assembly areas. Perform basic trimming of parts. Assemble basic plastic medical parts and package them. Use microscopes for detailed work. Essential Skills Experience in machine operation and production. Ability to work in a cleanroom environment. General labor and assembly skills. Ability to read work orders. Troubleshooting skills. Experience in the medical manufacturing industry. Microscope experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Manufacturing experience is beneficial. Injection mold experience is a plus, but not required. Good communication skills. Strong attendance and positive attitude. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is a very clean, medical setting with assembly areas and some presses located in Class 7 and Class 8 Clean Rooms. Enjoy a nice break room in our brand-new building. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
