Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Foundry Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing facility. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of complex foundry equipment and systems. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and productive environment by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide range of machinery. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced industrial setting, contributing directly to the success of our manufacturing operations. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on foundry equipment, including hydraulic systems, electrical components, and mechanical systems. Troubleshoot and repair machinery using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills to identify root causes of issues. Operate and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure equipment accuracy and quality standards are met. Utilize Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to diagnose automation issues and implement necessary adjustments or repairs. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Conduct welding tasks to repair or fabricate parts as needed for machinery or structural components. Assist with field service activities, including working with industrial electricians on high voltage and low voltage electrical systems, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Use various testing tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters to evaluate electrical circuits and components. Operate material handling equipment like scissor lifts safely within the industrial environment. Support safety initiatives by adhering to OSHA standards related to HVAC/R systems, high voltage electrical work, and general industrial maintenance practices. Skills Proven experience in an industrial mechanic or maintenance role within a manufacturing facility. Strong knowledge of hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical repair techniques. Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills for diagnosing complex machinery issues. Experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and CMMS software for maintenance tracking. Ability to perform welding tasks with precision and safety awareness. Knowledge of industrial electrician practices involving high voltage and low voltage systems. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, ammeters, and ohmmeters. Physical ability to operate field service equipment like scissor lifts safely in an industrial setting. Excellent customer service skills when collaborating with team members or supporting internal clients. Strong analysis skills combined with mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot effectively under pressure. Military experience in technical fields is considered a plus due to disciplined approach and technical expertise. $24.94 - $40.00 per hour
