This position involves operating plastic injection molding machines, inspecting finished products, and packaging light plastic parts of various shapes and sizes.

Plastics Injection Operator Responsibilities:

Operate plastic injection molding machines by loading materials, running presses, and monitoring product quality Inspect finished products for defects and correct mistakes as needed Trim excess plastic from completed parts using a utility knife Package completed products according to customer specifications Label finished boxes for shipment Use small hand tools to assemble lids Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment Requirements for

Plastics Injection Operator:

Able to stand for 8-12 hours at a time Able to lift up to 5 lbs. up to 10 times per hour and up to 40 lbs. up to 2 times per hour Able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment (temperatures can reach up to 100°F during the summer) Able to bend, twist, push, and pull throughout the shift Able to work at a fast pace while performing repetitive hand and eye movements with small parts
