full-time Toolmaker - Aluminum Permanent Mold Casting Spokane-Coeur d'Alene Area | Full-Time | On-Site We're hiring an experienced Toolmaker to build, maintain, and repair molds, tools, and dies for a well-established manufacturing team. Must-Haves Proficiency in machining operations, including milling, drilling, grinding, and lathing Skilled in interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD designs Ability to maintain, repair, and modify molds, tools, and dies to meet production needs Familiarity with measuring tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges Experience using CNC and manual machine tools GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing) experience Trade school certification, apprenticeship completion, or relevant work experience in toolmaking or machining Nice to Have SolidCam, SolidWorksCAM, or SolidWorks experience Background in aluminum permanent mold casting or the metalworking industry What You'll Do As a Toolmaker, you'll manufacture, assemble, maintain, and repair molds, tools, and dies. You'll review blueprints, set up and operate machinery, perform quality checks, and collaborate closely with engineers and production teams to make sure tooling meets specifications and production deadlines.
