Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Injection Molding Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic components efficiently and safely. Your expertise in plastics injection molding, mechanical knowledge, and precision measurement will ensure that production runs smoothly while adhering to quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative manufacturing processes within a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence and continuous improvement. Duties Set up, operate, and monitor injection molding machines, ensuring optimal performance and product quality. Conduct routine inspections of molds, machinery, and finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers. Perform quality inspections throughout the production process to identify defects or deviations from specifications. Maintain accurate production logs, shift reports, and documentation related to machine operation and quality checks. Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency. Operate auxiliary equipment such as CNC lathes, press brake machines, or CNC machines if required for component fabrication or secondary operations. Ensure adherence to safety protocols by properly using personal protective equipment (PPE) and following all safety guidelines during machine operation. Qualifications Proven experience operating plastics injection molding machinery in a manufacturing setting. Experience with plastics blow molding, plastics extrusion, or fabrication processes is a plus. Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to promote continuous improvement initiatives. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety, efficiency, and product quality.
