Full Job Description Process Technician Batavia, IL Pay:

$28•35 2nd and 3rd shift / 8 hours + overtime available Full-time, direct-hire A manufacturing company is seeking a 2nd or 3rd Shift Process Technician responsible for operating and maintaining 10-15 injection molding machines . The technician ensures machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment are properly set up to meet safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate injection/blow molding equipment. Troubleshoot and optimize processes for quality and efficiency. Communicate with managers and coworkers on issues and improvements. Recommend process or equipment improvements. Perform minor maintenance and assist with machine setups. Train and guide material handlers. Use internal systems for BOMs and shop order details. Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).

Qualifications:

High school diploma required; technical training preferred. 3-5 years of experience in plastic processing. Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, process controls, and mechanical principles. Ability to use hand/power tools and various auxiliary equipment. Basic math and computer skills; able to read technical documents. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Active, hands-on role requiring standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Good vision and communication skills are essential. Must be able to work full-time with potential overtime due to production needs.

Work Environment:

Manufacturing facility with seasonal temperature and humidity changes. Standard noise levels; regular use of PPE is required.
