Up to 6 days per week based on production and business needs

Pay Rate:

$18.00 - $24.00 an hour based on experience

Mixer Operator Job Description:

As a Mixer Operator, you will be responsible for accurately preparing dough batches according to approved recipes and production schedules. You will work closely with the Lead Mixer Operator and production team to maintain consistent product quality and keep batches moving efficiently to the production line.

Responsibilities include:

Review recipe sheets and gather ingredients needed for each batch

Accurately weigh and measure dry and liquid ingredients

Verify ingredient quantities, lot codes, and expiration dates

Stage and load ingredients into industrial mixers in the correct sequence

Operate industrial mixers, water meters, and related controls

Monitor dough consistency, hydration, temperature, and overall quality

Perform basic quality checks before releasing batches to production

Complete batch sheets, mixer logs, lot tracking forms, and other production documentation

Report ingredient, quality, or equipment concerns to leadership

Clean mixers, tools, scales, and work areas during changeovers and at the end of the shift

Follow all GMP, sanitation, allergen-control, PPE, food-safety, and workplace-safety procedures

Communicate with team members to maintain an efficient production flow

Mixer Operator Job Requirements:

• Ability to read and accurately follow recipes, formulas, and written instructions
• Basic math skills, including weighing, measuring, portioning, and unit conversions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate production records
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Comfortable working around industrial machinery in a loud, temperature-variable manufacturing environment
• Ability to follow GMP, food-safety, sanitation, and PPE requirements
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
