Job Title:
Molding Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled Molding Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in production, general labor, or material handling, and will be comfortable working in a GMP clean room environment. Experience with small parts or inventory is essential. Responsibilities Operate molds, presses, and equipment to produce silicone rubber implantable medical device components. Perform quality checks and inspections of parts to ensure adherence to standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with injection molding machines. Conduct assembly and labeling tasks as required. Communicate effectively with team leads to address any production issues. Essential Skills 1-3 years of experience in production, general labor, or material handling. Comfortable working in a GMP clean room environment. Experience with small parts or inventory handling. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in medical device production. Familiarity with GMP standards. Proficiency in using microscopes and small hand tools. Experience with molding operation and brake press machines. Upon entry, contractors must clean their shoes to remove dust and dirt, and wear protective covers. Permanent staff are provided Crocs for clean room use. All staff must fully gown up before entering the clean-room, which includes operating injection molding machines and using computer/microscope stations. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Lincolnshire, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.95/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
