THIS IS A NON-RELOCATION POSITION
Duties & Responsibilities:
Set and pull molds (knowledge of setting up hydraulic cores) Set up auxiliary equipment Help with starting machines Help supervisor in answering alarms Debug auxiliary equipment problems Performs necessary preventative maintenance on molds Maintain a clean working area during changeovers Comfortable with communicating across departments
Job Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience with setting up molds Must be able to safely work around molding machines Must be able to operate forklift and the overhead crane Must be able to work independently Good communication skills -written & oral Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude Interpret machine controls and instructions in the English language Some processing knowledge required' Flexibility to take on other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to hear machine alarms Good mobility, energy level & ability to routinely lift 50 pounds Requires good visual acuity and the ability to detect visual changes in plastic Able to climb ladders up to 6 feet Physical strength to perform ratcheting motion to torque settings Good mobility for high physical activity including but not limited to reaching, standing, stooping, squatting, & crawling to access machine areas We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
