Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining injection molding machines, ensuring the production of high-quality plastic components. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Set up and configure parameters on mold and extrusion machines. Perform changeovers for mold and extrusion machines as needed. Ensure parameters are in alignment with the specifications defined during validation. Verify that installations and utilities are configured according to specifications. Document machine setup details, parameters, and tools utilized. Provide support to operators and leadership in troubleshooting and resolving issues on the production lines. Analyze and resolve process-related issues as they arise. Clean tools before returning them to the tool shop. Perform preventive maintenance tasks as outlined. Maintain cleanliness of molding and extrusion machines at all times. Ensure adherence to the daily production schedule. Confirm machine setups at the start of each shift. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) consistently. Maintain compliance with safety standards and regulations at all times during operations. Quickly diagnose and resolve routine or minor issues. Offer technical support to projects and contribute to reducing defects. Participate in process improvement projects and support developmental teams with research. Be available to work overtime in accordance with company policy to meet production requirements. Regularly lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required (Technical degree is preferred). 2-3 years of experience in molding and/or extrusion is preferred. Proficient in speaking, reading, writing, and communicating in English.

$30.00 - $39.00 per hour
