Responsibilities Safely operate concrete mixer trucks and other commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and company policies Deliver ready-mixed concrete to construction sites, ensuring accurate placement and timing for optimal project flow Perform routine maintenance checks on trucks and paving equipment, including mixers, dump trucks, excavators, loaders, and screeds Assist with the setup and operation of paving equipment, including asphalt paving machinery and concrete pumping systems Support construction activities such as rebar installation, concrete forming, screed leveling, and finishing work as needed Follow all safety protocols diligently during vehicle operation and construction site activities to prevent accidents or injuries Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, equipment maintenance, and safety inspections for compliance purposes Qualifications Proven experience operating commercial trucks, heavy equipment (such as excavators and loaders), and paving machinery on construction sites Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery maintenance and troubleshooting Familiarity with concrete materials, asphalt paving processes, and concrete finishing techniques Knowledge of safety regulations including DOT standards, OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines, and site-specific safety protocols Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements, quantities, and material estimations Working experience in civil infrastructure projects involving concrete pouring, rebar installation, or pavement work is highly desirable Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience with dump trucks preferred Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment Join us in building the infrastructure that shapes communities!
