Job Summary We are currently seeking a Mold Setup Technician to join our team on 2nd shift . This position is responsible for setting up and maintaining injection molds for presses ranging in tonnage from 170 to 500 , ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled and emergency mold changes Set up molds and related systems (watering, hot runners, hydraulics, pneumatics, knockouts, etc.) Set press parameters according to process verification sheets Repair fluid or air leaks related to molds Pull and reset mold halves for repair or maintenance Load/unload mold trucks and handle auxiliary equipment setup Keep mold storage areas and setup supplies clean and organized Complete and submit all required paperwork accurately and on time Follow all company policies and OSHA safety guidelines

Requirements Qualifications:

No formal education requirements Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs Must be able to stand for long periods and work in heat/cold conditions Moderate to high noise levels (PPE may be required) Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed Mold set up experience 1-2 years
