Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Mixer Operator to join our food production team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating mixing and processing equipment to create high-quality food products that meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards. Your expertise in food handling, machinery operation, and safety protocols will ensure smooth production workflows and exceptional product consistency. Responsibilities Operate and monitor mixing, blending, and processing machinery in accordance with manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) Ensure all food products are prepared following strict food safety management practices, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards Perform routine sanitation of equipment and work areas to maintain high sanitation standards and prevent contamination Handle raw materials and finished products safely using material handling equipment such as forklifts, ensuring proper manual handling techniques and heavy lifting safety protocols Conduct mechanical troubleshooting on equipment to resolve operational issues promptly and minimize downtime Follow all safety standards in production, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols Assist with baking, food preparation, and food processing tasks as needed within the manufacturing environment Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, quality checks, and safety inspections Experience Prior experience in food production or manufacturing environments is highly preferred Hands-on experience with machine operation, mechanical troubleshooting, and basic math skills for measurements and adjustments Knowledge of sanitation procedures, HACCP guidelines, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and regulatory compliance standards in food production Culinary or kitchen experience, including knife skills and food handling expertise, is advantageous Familiarity with material handling equipment such as forklifts is a plus; certification is preferred but not required Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments, including PPE use and heavy lifting techniques Experience in a restaurant or food industry setting that emphasizes food safety, food preparation, or culinary skills Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to producing safe, high-quality food products while maintaining a safe work environment.
