Position Summary:

Prepare all final files for press and support pressroom as needed while following all safety and quality control standards.

Schedule:

Tuesday to Friday 7:00am to 5:00pm

Rate:

$25.75 - $33.25 Based on experience

Position Responsibilities:

Layout and trapping of all final PDF files from customer's app or PDF file Layout and trapping of all book work Output proofs to be QC'd System work as needed to create, emboss, spot UV and foil files Output film for all special effects Assisting pressroom with color corrections as needed Adheres to and promotes all safety, security and environmental policies and procedures All other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for 12-hour shift Ability to occasionally carry and lift up to 50 pounds Ability to bend and reach for extended periods of time

Position Skills:

High levels of attention to detail Organizational and leadership skills Knowledge of department's safety standards Ability to meet department quality standards Ability to work as a team and individually Ability to read and understand written instructions Position requires some mechanical aptitude Position requires ability to read a ruler metric and standard Position may require some mathematical calculations Must have general knowledge of manufacturing operations Ability to read and understand technical press layouts, set up instructions and production instructions

Experience/Education:
