Job Description
Testing & Data Analysis Coordinate vehicle testing, analyze test data, and deliver comprehensive engineering reports. Execute competitive benchmarking and analyze Electrical Demand Energy (EDE) metrics. Vehicle Preparation & Instrumentation Prepare test vehicles by managing software/hardware updates, instrumenting components, and submitting test requests for EPA and environmental test cell testing. Lead vehicle instrumentation builds and perform initial checkout procedures to ensure test readiness. Aero & Thermal Development Lead aerodynamic and thermal development and optimization to maximize fuel economy, EV/PHEV range, and overall vehicle performance. Proactively plan, track, and execute vehicle validation activities aligned with key program milestones. Test Execution & Problem Resolution Plan and conduct clear, productive test procedures, including dynamometer/drive cell testing and extended road trips. Proactively lead issue resolution by analyzing test anomalies, identifying root causes, and recommending actionable design solutions.
