Job Description

Build the Tool As a Compression Mold Maker, you'll turn engineering intent into production-ready tooling that holds tight tolerances and performs under pressure. You'll build, assemble, repair, and maintain compression molds; execute engineering changes; and troubleshoot performance issues to protect quality, safety, and customer specifications. You'll validate fit and function through inspection and support tryouts, partnering with Program Managers, Tool Designers, CNC Machinists, and Manufacturing to drive reliable launches and continuous improvement.
Required:
High School Diploma/GED Journeyman Mold Maker certification, DOL apprenticeship completion, or equivalent experience 5+ years mold building/repair/toolmaking experience Ability to read engineering drawings/CAD, GD&T; strong knowledge of tool steels/heat treat Spotting/benching/polishing/venting/fit-up skills; machining process familiarity (milling, grinding, drilling, EDM) Ready to put your craft on the line? .
