Job Description

Mold Maker Job Type:
Full-Time We are seeking an experienced Mold Maker to join an established manufacturing team. This position is responsible for building, repairing, maintaining, and modifying molds and tooling used in the production process. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on machining skills and experience working with plastic injection molds or similar tooling. Responsibilities Build, repair, modify, and maintain molds and tooling Read and interpret detailed blueprints, drawings, and specifications Set up and operate manual and CNC machining equipment Perform milling, grinding, drilling, turning, and other machining operations Troubleshoot mold and tooling issues and make necessary repairs or adjustments Inspect finished molds and components to ensure dimensional accuracy Work with engineering and production teams to resolve tooling issues Perform preventative maintenance and keep tooling in production-ready condition Maintain accurate documentation and follow company safety and quality standards Qualifications Previous experience as a Mold Maker, Tool Maker, Tool & Die Maker, or similar role Strong knowledge of machining and tooling processes Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T Experience with CNC and/or manual machining equipment Knowledge of plastic injection molds is highly preferred Experience with EDM, surface grinding, or CNC grinding is a plus Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to troubleshoot and solve tooling-related problems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Resume can be confidently sent to Shakiera Gronenthal shakiera.gronenthal@gogpac.com or Direct Line (605) 518-2173
