Full-Time Job Summary The Rotolift Operator is responsible for operating rotolift molding equipment to produce sand molds used in the casting process. This position ensures molds are formed to specification, meet quality standards, and support efficient and consistent production. Job Responsibilities Machine Operation Operate rotolift molding equipment to produce molds in accordance with work instructions and production requirements. Set up molds, patterns, and related tooling as required for production runs. Monitor molding cycles and adjust operation as needed to maintain efficiency and quality. Perform pattern changes and setup activities in a timely manner. Mold Quality Control Inspect molds for defects, alignment, and overall quality prior to pouring. Identify pattern damage, sand issues, or mold defects that may impact casting quality. Communicate quality concerns or irregularities to leadership promptly. Equipment & Process Support Maintain proper sand conditions in coordination with the Mullor system. Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of rotolift equipment. Monitor equipment performance and report issues or malfunctions. Safety Follow all safety procedures related to molding operations and equipment use. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to support safe production. Job Qualifications Experience in foundry or manufacturing environment preferred. Ability to operate or learn rotolift molding equipment. Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Ability to identify defects and production issues. Basic mechanical aptitude. Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment. Work Environment This position is performed in a hot, industrial foundry environment with exposure to molten metal, moving equipment, and industrial noise. Required PPE must be worn at all times.
