Job Description
Auto Cast, Inc is looking to add a furnace operator to its team of world class employees! The right candidate will have a proven track record of lengthy tenure in previous positions, great attendance and a desire to learn!

- What you can expect to do in this position: Operate and maintain the meltdown furnace, flux, clean, skim, weigh and store dross as required Skim and clean individual holding furnaces on aluminum diecast machines Keep furnace filled to proper level required Clean and maintain launder system as required Clean and maintain scrap incline conveyor and also tub transfer system as required Maintain records on metal usage and other required recordable documentation Practice good housekeeping including 5S Keep area 's free of scrap and spills Obey and practice all safety procedures and properly use LOTO and wear required PPE Record on weekly form and report any furnace issues to supervisor Weigh and move all scrap collected to designated trailer recording on paperwork in shipping Clean drain/trench behind launder system as needed Clean under dumper lift and conveyor system as needed Any other duties that management may deem necessary
