Job Description

Lapeer Plating & Plastics, Inc., The Premier Manufacturer of Class A, High-Visibility Automotive Components, is seeking highly motivated, team players, possessing a continuous improvement mindset, to join our team as Injection Molding Machine Operators. Production Team Members are responsible for the day to day, manufacturing, inspection, and packing of light weight plastic automotive components. Employees at this level will operate Injection Molding Presses, Simple Machines, load and unload components, pack or unpack parts and components, inspect and hand trim components, as well as keep an hourly check list of scrap and defects. Job Description This Position may require any or all the duties listed below. Operation of Injection Molding Presses Inspection of plastic automotive components Packing of parts into boxes and containers Assembly of small clips and adhesive backings Lifting of up to 60 lbs.   • 2:00 PM (Mon-Fri; Sat as needed) 2nd Shif t: 2:00 PM
  • 10:00 PM (Mon-Fri; Sat as needed) 3rd Shi ft: 10:00 PM
  • 6:00 AM (Mon-Fri; Sat as needed)Overtime is currently being scheduled to meet customer production requirements.
Please be available to work Saturdays and Sundays as needed. Your cooperation and flexibility are appreciated as we work to meet our production commitments. Requirements Production and Machine Operators Positions on
ALL SHIFTS
Must be 18 years of age Must adhere to all safe work procedures All positions require constant movement, continuous standing, excellent attention to detail and basic math skills. Must Have Reliable Transportation Must be able to report to work without any absences for the 60-day probationary period
