Job Description
Core Responsibilities Start-up jobs per documentation Create start-up process and check sheet Ensure initial parts meet all quality standards Respond to action forms Write internal work orders and ECOs Change process as needed with proper documentation Training Housekeeping Back up on all floor duties Process methods and quality improvements / FABW Stop work when unsafe situation arises and correct Stop work to improve process or quality Understand company quality policy and general safety rules for all employees Other duties as assigned Physical Responsibilities Routine lifting of up to 50 pounds Required to walk, stand or sit up to 12 hours per day (depending on shift), with 10-to-15-minute breaks every two hours Good vision is required for visual inspection of material and inventory documents Color blind test required every 5 years Repetitive bending, stooping, or twisting Occasional reaching, kneeling Communication/Organizational Skills Basic reading and writing Basic math skills
- ability to count Ability to verbally communicate to many different levels within the organization Education and Experience Experience as Mold Hanger and/or Mold Assistant preferred Job specific training Thorough knowledge of press, mold function and safety features Knowledge of all jobs, responsibilities and authorities on molding floor Page Break 1st shift
