Job Description

Molder/Machine Operator
  • 2nd
Shift SUMMARY:
Assists in the operation of rotational molding machines and production of plastic parts in a manufacturing setting.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Fills buckets with the proper resin/dye and weight. Fills molding tooling with proper resin/dye and weight. Installs/Removes pins and/or inserts into proper place on the mold. Unload Mold or tooling as required by machine time. Visually inspect each part for quality. Reject non-conforming parts as needed and places them in designated area. Ensure proper maintenance of tooling at all times. Trim and deburr part and put in cart and/or box. Maintains part counts for inventory. Maintains cleanliness of work area. Follows all appropriate safety regulations. Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product. Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department or work crew. Maintains time and productions records.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • No prior experience or training.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Reading, Writing, and basic Communication skills.
  • Successfully completing and passing pre-employment test during interview process.
