Molding Supervisor General Description:
Perform manual operation of injection, transfer and compression style presses. The goal is to produce rubber parts that meet the customer's expectations. Job involves routine, repetitive answering of presses. If any defects are noticed while answering presses the Lead is to be notified so modifications can be made to the settings. With training, able to work on majority of presses with limited supervision.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate equipment, use hand tools and/or perform manual tasks related to one or more of the manufacturing processes used to produce product according to procedures/standards Follow current department procedures regarding proper work allocation Follow approved methods to perform mold changes on most press styles Follow established ISO Procedures Accurately record/communicate data using ERP system (APPX) Use proper line clearance procedures to ensure segregation of parts Use scales to weigh rubber at times if needed Consistently meet productivity goals while maintaining appropriate product quality Use information on JIS to understand and follow special instructions Use information on bin tags to understand and follow routing process Perform work demanding a high degree of care when handling molds to avoid damage Consult with Supervisor or Lead when verification is needed Follow standard safety procedures and personal protective equipment requirements. Demonstrate regular and consistent attendance Work overtime as required

Maintain acceptable housekeeping standards at all times to ensure a safe and productive work environment for all employees Keep working area orderly by complying with 5-S Program Clean molds using proper techniques Maintain proper segregation of rubber at presses Learn additional department processes as needed Provide assistance in other departments as needed with supervision Other duties as assigned by
Supervisor or Lead Prerequisite Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent desired Ability to work well with others Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend written and verbal instructions in English Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations Must be able to follow detailed instructions Ability to learn inspection techniques and operating procedures Has neat, legible handwriting (or printing) Ability to learn and use, with assistance, scales and other measuring devices
Physical Requirements:
Good vision (with or without corrective lenses) Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. on occasion Ability to get low while doing injection set-ups S10:
