Job Summary We are seeking a motivated Injection Mold Technician to join our manufacturing team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining injection molding machines to produce top-quality plastic parts. Your expertise will ensure efficient production processes while adhering to safety and quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing equipment and contribute to the creation of precision-engineered components. Responsibilities Set up and operate injection molding machines, ensuring optimal performance and product quality Conduct routine inspections of molds and machinery using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers Troubleshoot machine issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production flow Perform quality inspections on finished parts using hand tools and other measurement devices Maintain accurate documentation of production runs, machine maintenance, and quality checks Assist with materials handling, including loading raw materials and managing finished goods in the warehouse Support fabrication and assembly processes as needed to meet production schedules Requirements Proven experience working with plastics injection molding machinery in a manufacturing environment preferred. Mechanical knowledge. Ability to operate forklifts safely within a warehouse setting. Skilled in using hand tools, measuring instruments, micrometers, calipers, and other quality inspection tools preferred. Basic math skills for measurements and process calculations Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction Strong attention to detail combined with good communication skills for teamwork and safety compliance.
