Job Description

A day in the life Picture starting your shift in a clean, well-organized molding department in Canton, NC. You power up production equipment, scan labels, and begin assembling parts that meet precise specifications. Throughout the day, you inspect components, document output and scrap, and keep your cell running safely and efficiently. When something looks off, you alert your lead and help troubleshoot. It's hands-on, fast-paced work—ideal for someone who loves making quality products the right way, every time. About the role Impact Workforce Solutions is hiring on behalf of our partner, ConMet, for full-time Press Operators supporting the Molding Department in Canton, NC. This role is perfect for candidates with manufacturing, machine operation, assembly, or production backgrounds who want stability, growth, and a team that values safety and collaboration. Schedule & pay 2nd shift: Monday•Thursday 7pm•7:30am
Pay:
$20.50 +$2.00 per hour shift differential = $22.50 1st shift: Monday•Thursday 7am•7:30pm

$20.50 per hour Canton, NC | Full-Time | Weekly Pay + Benefits Be prepared to work flexible hours, including mandatory and voluntary overtime when needed. What you'll take on Inspect, assemble, label, and package parts in line with written work instructions Run production machinery and use labeling scan guns to track work Accurately log production totals, quality checks, and scrap Hit daily production and quality targets Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe Report equipment problems or production issues to supervisors/leads Follow all safety, environmental, and workplace procedures What helps you succeed High school diploma or GED preferred 1+ year in manufacturing, production, machine operation, or assembly preferred Comfort using a computer and handheld scan gun Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic Grow with a leader Build a long-term manufacturing career with a company that invests in training and advancement.
