Job Description

Adecco is currently hiring for Entry-Level Slitter Operators. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to start or grow a career in manufacturing. As a Slitter Operator, you will operate and monitor slitting equipment to cut fabric to specified widths and diameters while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards. Key Responsibilities Production Operate slitting equipment according to established procedures and work instructions. Review work orders to confirm product specifications before production begins. Complete required line clearance checks at shift start and during product changeovers. Verify machine settings, knife alignment, and offset setup according to recipes and specifications. Perform visual and audio inspections during startup and throughout production runs. Monitor machine performance and communicate equipment concerns to supervisors. Assist with machine setup and product changeovers as needed. Maintain cleanliness of the slitter, unwinder, rewinder, and surrounding work areas. Keep equipment and production areas free from debris and foreign materials. Support packing and other production activities as required. Participate in shift handoff communications to ensure smooth production flow. Work cooperatively with team members to meet production goals. Perform other duties as assigned. Quality Monitor product quality and report defects or abnormalities immediately. Conduct routine inspections of finished products. Utilize measurement tools and defect calculators as trained. Measure and verify product dimensions according to specifications. Maintain awareness of product specifications and quality requirements. Communicate quality concerns promptly to laboratory personnel and supervisors. Safety Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and work instructions. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Use materials, tools, and equipment according to manufacturer guidelines. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Requirements High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience. Basic math and problem-solving skills. Basic mechanical aptitude. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to learn equipment setup and operation. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Ability to frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. What's in this for You? Pay Details:
