Job Description

Accentuate Staffing has partnered with a growing manufacturing organization seeking experienced Process Technicians to support injection molding operations and help bridge the gap between machine operators and engineering teams. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on troubleshooting, process improvement, and taking ownership of production performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The company is investing in operational enhancements and is looking for team members who can contribute to quality, efficiency, and long-term success. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving abilities, and experience identifying and resolving manufacturing process issues. This role involves monitoring production equipment, making process adjustments, supporting quality initiatives, assisting with equipment setups and changeovers, and collaborating with engineering, maintenance, and production teams. Individuals with injection molding experience are highly preferred, though candidates with transferable process manufacturing expertise and leadership potential will also be considered.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and optimize manufacturing processes by adjusting machine parameters, including pressure, temperature, timing, and other operating conditions to maintain product quality and production efficiency. Troubleshoot production, quality, and process-related issues by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions while escalating equipment or tooling concerns when appropriate. Perform machine setups, product changeovers, material changes, and startup activities while ensuring adherence to approved production and quality standards. Conduct quality inspections, document production data, and maintain accurate records related to process performance, downtime, and operational metrics. Partner with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to support process improvements, new product introductions, equipment validation activities, and waste reduction initiatives. Provide guidance and technical support to production operators while promoting safe work practices, operational consistency, and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in manufacturing, plastics, processing technologies, or a related field is preferred. Two or more years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment with responsibility for troubleshooting equipment, processes, or production-related issues; injection molding experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to independently analyze process conditions, make machine adjustments, and resolve quality or production concerns using sound technical judgment. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret process data, use measurement tools, and work from specifications, drawings, or quality standards. Experience with quality documentation, process monitoring, statistical process control, or continuous improvement initiatives is beneficial. Effective communication, leadership potential, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a production environment. #accentuate1
