ITW Medical, a division of ITW, is comprised of two highly respected brands- Coeur and Filtertek, supplying critical filtration and flow control solutions to global OEM's, serving Surgical, Infusion, Bioprocessing and Diagnostic Imaging end markets. •This role is for a 12-hour rotating night shift: 7:00 pm - 7:00 am. Week 1: Mon, Tues, Sat, Sun | Week 2: Wed, Thurs, Fri The role provides basic/routine maintenance to plastic injection molding machines, assists the technician in more complex fixes, and provides material handler/forklift operation duties for the molding department. There is a 3-month training and assessment period in which the candidate must demonstrate an understanding and execution of job functions. The role pays $20.00/hr base + $2.00/hr night shift premium while on night shift. There may be an introductory period of day training before moving to nights. •
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist Technicians with mold changeovers, determining part defect, root cause and implementing appropriate corrective action. Set-up and operate molding machinery and support equipment. Material handling duties for Molding area; delivering raw material, removing finished goods and recording material movement in ERP system. Assist with scheduled preventative maintenance functions. Work closely with setup technicians and operators to ensure proper operation of equipment. Compliant with OSHA regulations. Ensure good housekeeping.
Knowledge of Environmental Health & Safety Good Manufacturing Practices Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year manufacturing experience. Must possess good communication/interpretation skills, good visual skills for accessing functionality of equipment, above basic mathematical skills, above minimum computer skill set, and reasoning ability. Must possess mechanical aptitude and ability to adapt and learn. Physical Requirements Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Must be able to stand for full manufacturing shift, ability to reach with arms extended and/or overhead, excellent hand dexterity, ability to bend, stoop, stretch and similar activities Ability to accommodate occasional flexible schedule when required. Must be able to safely operate required equipment for performing job functions.
