$30.00-$35.00 per hour Join a Growing Manufacturing Team We are currently seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Mold Technician for a direct hire opportunity in Hudson, NH. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on manufacturing professional with injection molding experience who is looking for long-term stability, competitive pay, and the chance to contribute to a team focused on quality, safety, and continuous improvement. In this role, you will be responsible for mold changes, machine setup, startup and shutdown procedures, and supporting the efficient production of high-quality plastic molded components. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical ability, prior mold changing experience, and a solid understanding of injection molding processes and equipment. Key Responsibilities Remove and install molds in plastic injection molding machines Set up machines for production by aligning molds and connecting required water, hydraulic, and air lines Adjust machine controls to meet established setup parameters for each job Perform machine startup and shutdown procedures, including lockout/tagout, purging material, and mold removal Troubleshoot molding machines, molds, and related equipment at a basic operational level Set up auxiliary and press-side secondary equipment Complete tool change reports, production logs, and other required documentation accurately and on time Support continuous improvement efforts related to mold changes, setup efficiency, and production flow Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Promote safe work practices and assist in ensuring the safety of team members during mold changes and setup activities Perform other duties as needed to support production operations Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience changing molds Basic understanding of the injection molding process Experience with material handling Experience with press startup and shutdown Understanding of common injection molding defects Familiarity with automation used in injection molding Ability to set up auxiliary equipment and press-side secondary equipment Experience using overhead cranes, portable gantries, powered pallet jacks, and forklifts What We're Looking For Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask and adapt to shifting production priorities Good written and verbal communication skills Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed Commitment to workplace safety, product quality, and production efficiency Why This Opportunity Stands Out Direct hire position Competitive pay: $30.00-$35.00/hour Opportunity to join a stable and collaborative manufacturing environment Long-term potential with a company that values quality, accountability, and continuous improvement If you have injection molding setup experience and are looking for your next long-term opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
