EPTAM Precision Molding is looking for a Senior Process Technician - 2nd Shift at our Phillipsburg, NJ facility EPTAM Precision Molding hosts a tightly controlled facility with ISO Class 7 and 8 cleanrooms. Shift Times:
2 nd Shift 4:00pm to 12:30am Monday through Friday Compensation Total Potential 2nd-
Shift Pay:
$33.00-$44.00 per hour Includes base pay of $30.00-$40.00 per hour plus a 10% second-shift differential.
POSITION SUMMARY
Maintains production yields by directly inspecting and/or reviewing reports and coordinating with other shifts to keep the process at peak efficiency and quality including equipment, settings, auxiliary units, robotics, etc.) In addition, this role directs and executes tool changes per the production schedule.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions Develop injection molding processes using proven scientific methodologies. Validate injection mold and work cell through
IQ, OQ, PQ
validation process. Document in detail, molding process, mold set up, work cell layout, and troubleshooting information for each job that is validated. Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures Evaluate new processes, components, products, and systems in conformance with engineering specifications Isolates problems for further analyses Reports any malfunctions or abnormalities and makes minor adjustments and repairs to equipment Performs tests to verify production/process conditions Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications Tends automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation Support current production needs for trouble shooting and process improvement. Support and oversee new process equipment production. Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements. Develop and maintain process documentation. Learns to apply and support lean manufacturing principles Review processing methods. Ensures ISO and safety standards are adhered Maintain contact with interdepartmental managers to provide feedback when dealing with process or material changes. Understand and execute all plant policies and procedures. Develop and maintain positive team member relations centered on mutual trust, dignity, respect, fairness, consistency, two-way communication, teamwork, and harmony.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
EDUCATION:
Trade school graduate or associates degree or a combination of experience and education. Knowledge of Scientific Molding principals
Experience:
5+ years experience in an injection molding operation Experience in a 24/7 manufacturing/molding operation
OTHER MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess good written and verbal communication skills with our internal and external customers. Basic knowledge of equipment. Advanced ability to read prints and use measuring equipment along with advanced math skills. Demonstrates experience in performance development, teaching/leading, mentoring and/or organization development. Instills appropriate behavior in others in support of EPTAM values
