Injection Molding Operator - Afternoon Shift Precision Molding and Machining Sparks, NV Job Details Full-time $16 - $20 an hour 20 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Qualifications Packing Machine operation Forklift High school diploma or GED Manufacturing facility experience Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be assisting in the injection molding process to produce quality parts in a safe and efficient manner. This position monitors machine performance, performs quality inspections, loads materials, completes production documentation, and supports continuous improvement efforts within the manufacturing operation. Duties Load raw materials and components into equipment as required. Remove finished parts and perform visual inspections for defects. Package, label, and move finished products according to specifications. Maintain required production rates while following quality and safety standards. Monitor machine operation and notify supervisors of any abnormalities or equipment issues. Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections. Identify defects such as flash, short shots, discoloration, voids, or dimensional issues. Follow quality procedures and document inspection results. Segregate nonconforming product and notify the appropriate personnel. Maintain clean and organized work areas. Perform routine cleaning of equipment and workstations. Assist with material changes, mold changes, and machine startup activities as directed. Support preventive maintenance activities when required. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred. Ability to read and follow work instructions. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Experience with safety protocol adherence in a manufacturing setting. Basic math skills for calculations related to measurements, machine adjustments, and production metrics. Warehouse experience including materials handling with hand tools and forklifts is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills with engineering troubleshooting capabilities for process improvement or equipment issues. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally. Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive tasks. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and machine noise. Join our Team as an Injection Molding Operator on 2nd shift (afternoons). You'll help to run and monitor molding machines, keep production on schedule, and catch problems before they become defects. Experience is preferred but not required — we'll train the right person. If you're reliable, pay attention to detail, and like working with your hands, you'll do well on this position.
Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
