Bonding Mill Operator

Checon, LLC, a division of Alloy Holdings, LLC is currently recruiting for a Bonding Mill Operator at our Glens Falls, NY location. This position handles the operation of bonding mills used in industry to produce metal tapes and strips. You will work as part of a team, collaborating with other operators and skilled workers.

Essential Job Duties Include:

Operating and monitoring production equipment and processes to ensure that they are working properly and adjust as needed. Setting up equipment with new tooling as needed. In process inspection testing. Maintaining work orders on both production router and/or in ERP systems. Maintaining a safe, clean and well-organized workspace. Supporting a safety culture by following all safety rules.

Qualifications/Requirements :

HS Diploma or GED Required. Experience in machine operation within a manufacturing environment preferred. Excellent mechanical and logical thinking, able to do simple maintenance and repairs. Attention to detail; Ability to use measuring equipment such as vernier, calipers and micrometers and read and record data accurately as required. Organized, self-structured, self-driven. Practical approach, straightforward and communicative.

Physical Requirements/Safety :

Ability to work with high temperature equipment and products. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
