Injection Blow Molding Machine Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Injection Blow Molding Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining injection blow molding machines to produce high-quality plastic containers and bottles. Your expertise will ensure efficient production processes, adherence to safety standards, and consistent product quality. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor injection blow molding machines to produce plastic containers according to specifications. Perform routine machine adjustments and troubleshooting to optimize production efficiency and product quality. Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure products meet strict standards. Maintain proper materials handling procedures, including loading raw plastics and managing waste disposal in compliance with safety protocols. Conduct regular equipment inspections, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot mechanical issues related to plastics blow molding, injection molding, CNC machinery, or press brake machines. Document production data accurately, including cycle times, defect rates, and machine downtime logs. Follow lean manufacturing principles to minimize waste and improve workflow efficiency. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of plastics blow molding, injection molding, extrusion processes, and fabrication techniques. Experience operating programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for machine automation control. Ability to use hand tools, precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers), and basic math skills for quality checks and adjustments. Familiarity with CNC machinery such as CNC lathes or CNC mills is a plus. Knowledge of materials handling procedures within a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Ability to operate forklifts safely (forklift certification preferred). Understanding of lean manufacturing concepts to promote continuous improvement initiatives. Basic understanding of assembly processes related to plastic components or finished products. Pay:

$24.16 - $29.10 per hour
