Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Injection Molding Process Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting plastics injection molding machinery to ensure high-quality production standards are met. Your expertise will help optimize process efficiency, maintain safety protocols, and uphold quality control throughout the manufacturing process. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor injection molding machines, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to production schedules Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on injection molding equipment, robotic systems, CNC lathes, press brake machines, and other industrial machinery Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments and dimensional measurement techniques to verify product specifications Adjust machine parameters based on process data and engineering instructions to improve cycle times and product quality Handle materials safely using forklifts and materials handling equipment, ensuring proper storage and inventory management in the warehouse Document process parameters, machine logs, and quality control data accurately for traceability and continuous improvement Follow safety protocols diligently, including lockout/tagout procedures and proper use of hand tools during maintenance activities Requirements Proven experience in plastics injection molding, extrusion, or blow molding within a manufacturing environment Strong mechanical knowledge of industrial equipment such as CNC machines, CNC lathes, press brake machines, robotic systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) Ability to perform precision measurements and quality inspections using measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, and other measurement instruments Familiarity with materials handling procedures including forklift operation and warehouse organization Basic math skills for calculating measurements, tolerances, and process adjustments Knowledge of safety protocols related to industrial equipment operation and manufacturing environments Hands-on experience with machine operation, machining processes, assembly techniques, and troubleshooting engineering issues Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to machinery or materials quickly and effectively Join our team as an Injection Molding Process Technician if you're eager to bring your technical expertise into a vibrant manufacturing environment where safety, quality, and innovation are at the forefront.
