PrideStaff is searching for a Lead Machine Operator for their Akron-based rubber manufacturer. Our client is looking for an experienced rubber production professional who has some previous leadership experience. A successful Lead Machine Operator will be good with people, be a strong coach, and lead the 2nd shift rubber manufacturing operation. This person will be a working Lead who will be operating a mold machine when they are not leading their team.

Responsibilities:

Function as the Lead Mold Operator Help Achieve daily production goals for themselves and 2nd shift team Must have prior experience in rubber molds to be able to coach and lead their team Must maintain work sechedule and do the work that is assigned priority Must ensure all workers adhere to safe manufacturing practices at all times Positively influence team to meet goals. Be an effective communicatior and coach members to top performance

Key Objectives:

Ensure quality through proper mold set up Make sure the correct material is being used Solf production or mold issues when needed Responsible for locking up facility at the end of the day
