Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Pellet Mill Operator and play a vital role in producing high-quality pellet products. In this energetic position, you'll operate and maintain pellet milling equipment, ensuring smooth and efficient production processes. Your expertise will help us meet production goals while adhering to safety standards. Duties Operate pellet mill machinery, including feed systems, grinders, and presses, to produce consistent pellet quality. Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues promptly, and perform routine maintenance to prevent downtime. Adjust machine settings based on production specifications and quality standards. Conduct quality checks on pellets, ensuring they meet size, moisture, and density requirements. Maintain detailed logs of production data, machine performance, and maintenance activities. Follow safety protocols diligently and ensure the work area remains clean and organized. Assist with loading raw materials and unloading finished products using forklifts or hand tools as needed. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of industrial equipment and machinery operation. Experience with forklift operation for material handling within the warehouse or production area. Familiarity wirh machines, power tools, and fabrication techniques. Ability to use hand tools such as calipers for precise measurements and adjustments. Knowledge of manufacturing processes including assembly, machining, and heavy lifting techniques. Experience with warehouse operations, safety procedures, and inventory management. Skills in operating machines or fabricating components are a plus but not required.
