Job Summary:

Are you ready to work hard and build something real? As a Roto Molding Operator at RTS you'll be hands-on in producing high-quality plastic products using state-of-the-art rotational molding equipment. Some of our best operators came in with little to no experience and have grown into leadership positions. No experience? No problem, we'll train you. Experienced? Great, we reward that. What we need is commitment, reliability, and a strong work ethic. This is a physical, demanding, yet highly rewarding job. Hour Afternoon Shift:

3:00 PM - 11:00 PM 8

Hour Night Shift:

11:00 PM - 7:00 AM All shifts include 30-minute paid lunch

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Operation Take full operation of our high-performance roto molding machines and run them like a pro. We'll show you how. Accurately load plastic resin into staging bins based on the shift's production plan. Prep molds with precision, pour in resin, and oversee the production process from start to finish. Keep production moving by maintaining ideal cycle times, temperatures, and rotation speeds, monitoring for optimal performance. Quality Control Be the final gatekeeper. Inspect each product with a sharp eye to make sure it meets RTS's quality standards before it moves to the next phase. Run routine checks and take quick measurements to catch issues before they become problems. Flag any defects, inconsistencies, or machine issues to keep the machines running at peak performance. Maintenance & Cleaning Keep the machines in top shape continually by performing routine cleanings and upkeep so production never skips a beat. Assisting crews and teams with mold changes and setup for demand based product runs. Own your workspace by keeping it clean, organized, and safe is how we keep moving. Team Collaboration Work shoulder-to-shoulder with a team that's aiming higher every day. Coordinate with other departments to keep production flowing without delays. Speak up! Your ideas for doing things better, faster, or smarter are always welcome. Safety First Follow safety guidelines like your life depends on it, because it does. Spot hazards before they become accidents and take action to keep yourself and your team protected.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Basic Windows based computer operation. Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn detailed machine operation. Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good physical condition, it's crucial to able to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 lbs, ability to adapt to various high and low temperature environments, and stand for extended periods. Math and measurement skills for measuring and calculating material amounts. Prior experience in manufacturing or a similar environment is a plus, but not required.
