About Us Dry Effect is a family-owned restoration company serving Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky for over 13 years. We are IICRC-certified, BBB A+ rated, and known for treating every home like it belongs to one of our own family members. We handle water damage, mold remediation, waterproofing, air duct cleaning, and fire restoration. We are a small team that works closely together. What You'll Do You will be part of our field crew responding to water damage and mold jobs across the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area.
Day-to-day work includes:
Water extraction and structural drying on residential and commercial jobs Setting up and monitoring drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers) Mold remediation including containment setup, removal, and HEPA cleaning Documenting job sites with photos and moisture readings Communicating clearly with homeowners and our office team Keeping trucks, equipment, and job sites clean and organized The On-Call Schedule (Please Read Before Applying) Restoration is an emergency service, so we need reliable coverage outside normal hours. Here is exactly what the rotation looks like: Regular weekday schedule during normal business hours On-call one weeknight per week (rotating with the rest of the crew) On-call one full weekend every five weeks When you are on-call, you need to be reachable, sober, and able to respond within a reasonable window if a call comes in. On-call pay and call-out pay are discussed at the interview. What We're Looking For Dependable. If you say you'll be there at 8, you are there at 8. Honest. We deal with people on their worst day. They need to trust you in their home.
