Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Blanchard/Surface Grinder Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate surface grinding machines to produce high-precision parts, ensuring adherence to strict quality standards. Your expertise in machining processes and mechanical knowledge will contribute to our reputation for excellence in manufacturing. Responsibilities Set up and operate Blanchard and/or surface grinding machines Read and follow work instructions and company policies Read blueprints, tape measures, and perform basic math Use measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers Maintain close tolerances and quality standards Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting Keep work area clean, safe, and organized Requirements Minimum 3 years in the metal manufacturing industry Minimum 3 years of Blanchard and/or surface grinding experience Experience with large machinery required, not hand-held grinders Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Good communication and teamwork skills High school diploma or GED preferred Ability to pass a drug test Physical Demands Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and sit Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception required

Pay:

$17.00 - $24.00 per hour
