50/hour Productivity Bonus Available Paid Weekly What you will do: Visually and electronically inspect tires, scanning tires into system, repair tire injuries and fill with extrusion gum Buffing old tread off tire casings, apply new tread compound on casing, operate tire x-ray machine as necessary, and operate curing chamber and monitor equipment settings Operation of computer-based tracking system throughout the production process Maintain sufficient and accurate inventory levels with regards to material used in the retreading process and utilize the automated inventory-scanning feature to keep inventory levels current What you need to know and have: Must be able to move, and stack truck tires, tread, and other materials repetitively This includes the ability to lift to 50 pounds and stand for up to 10 hours a day. Occasional bending, walking, kneeling, and stooping are also required Knowledge of mechanical equipment operation Ability to utilize air-powered hand tools Work is performed inside the manufacturing facility, with exposure to dirt, rubber dust, noise, and seasonal temperature changes Must adhere to all safety guidelines including the wearing of appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment
