RESPONSIBILITIESOperate injection molding machine to cast products from thermoplastic materialsMold products according to specifications under heat and pressureRun controls to start the flow of water and release air pressure to the machineSet timing and temperature units and start the automatic feed mechanismAdjust controls to conform to specificationsRemove the workpiece from the mold and trim excess materialReuse excess material or unsatisfactory workpieces by regrinding themExamine, inspect, and measure raw materialsInstall dies on machines according to specificationsFollow a formula to mix thermoplastic materials and coloring pigments in a mixing machineMonitor machine temperature, the volume of material, pressure, and speedMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentComply with health and safety regulations and always wear protective gear

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
