Job Description

Foundry Worker Location:
Tulsa, OK Hours:
Monday-Thursday, 3:00 AM - 1:30
PM Overtime:
Expected on Fridays (8-hour shifts)
Pay:
$17-$18 Job Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Ability to pass a drug screen and background check Corrected vision must be 20/20 General knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes and workplace safety regulations Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to adapt, multitask, and be cross-trained in multiple foundry operations Stable work history strongly preferred Experience in foundry, manufacturing, metalworking, or industrial environments preferred Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, or front-end loaders preferred Willingness to work in extreme temperatures, dust, noise, fumes, and around moving equipment Required to wear PPE, including hard hat, gloves, face mask, and steel-toed boots Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching throughout the shift Responsibilities Perform duties in one or more foundry production areas, including: Core Making Mold Making Mold Closing Melting Operations Pouring Operations Shakeout Processes Casting Cleaning and Finishing Form internal and external casting structures using cores and molds Prepare and pour molten metal into molds while following established procedures Remove sand, gates, risers, fins, and surface defects from finished castings Abrasive blast, inspect, repair, and finish castings to quality specifications Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, loaders, and other production equipment as needed Assist with sand reclamation, pattern storage, and casting touch-up activities Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and HSE requirements Support production needs across multiple foundry departments Perform additional duties as assigned Preferred Experience One year or more of experience in two or more of the following areas: Pattern Shop/Storage Core Making Mold Making Mold Closing Induction Melting Pouring Shakeout Abrasive Blasting Gating & Riser Removal Grinding Casting Inspection and Touch-Up One year or more of experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, or front-end loaders On-the-job training available for qualified candidates #INDT
