Monday - Thursday, 9pm - 7:30am This is a temp-to-hire position. Full Job Description We are hiring a Lead Operator for a night shift position with an established manufacturing facility in Newberg. This role can be for someone that is looking to take the next step in their career into a lead. You'll enjoy working in a small team of about three operators. You will be responsible for coordinating shift transitions, overseeing daily production operations, ensuring product quality, and supporting and training machine operators. This position acts as a key communication link between shifts, production management, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage shift handoffs by communicating production status, updates, and priorities between outgoing and incoming teams Support operators during machine changeovers by providing job details, samples, and quality expectations Monitor production floor readiness, ensuring all materials, documentation, and tools are available for each job Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Perform ongoing quality checks, including visual inspections, label verification, and adherence to quality standards Document production data, track performance, and report defects or non-conformance issues Collaborate with management to improve processes related to packaging, trimming, and part handling Coordinate employee schedules for breaks and lunches, providing coverage as needed Evaluate operator skills, assign work accordingly, and provide training on new jobs and procedures

Qualifications:

Plastic injection molding experience required: Operator Lead Setup Technician
