SHIFT:

TBD Our client, a leader in aerospace manufacturing in SE Portland, is looking for a Mold Machine Operator Specialist. In this role you will produce complex and heavy wax patterns, soluble parts, and gating components. This role requires attention to detail, good mechanical skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

What You'll Do:

Set up, assemble, and operate mold machines and tooling dies Install and adjust inserts, chills, and solubles according to specifications Operate molding equipment to produce accurate, high-quality wax parts Inspect parts for defects, trim as needed, and place parts on proper fixtures Monitor equipment and make adjustments to maintain quality and dimensions Clean, remove, and store tooling after production Perform minor repairs to tooling and equipment Troubleshoot quality and tooling issues and take corrective action Maintain production logs, records, and supply inventory Help develop and update production technique cards Work with engineers and team members on new or redesigned tooling and processes Follow all company safety rules and safely operate equipment

What We're Looking For:

Basic math skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently with limited supervision Good written communication skills Ability to safely handle and move large or heavy tooling and wax patterns Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job

Non Negotiables :

18-24 months of experience as a Mold Machine Operator or equivalent training and experience Ability to read and follow technique cards, load cards, specifications, and work instructions If you enjoy hands-on work, working with machinery, and producing precision parts, we'd like to hear from you! #
