Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mold Remediation Technician to join our dedicated restoration team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, removing, and preventing mold growth in various environments. Your expertise will help restore properties to their optimal condition while adhering to strict safety protocols. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, requiring hands-on skills and a proactive approach to emergency response and customer service. Duties Perform mold inspection, assessment, and remediation in residential and commercial properties using industry-approved techniques. Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respirators, gloves, and suits to ensure safety during mold removal processes. Operate power tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment for cleaning, demolition, and mold containment. Follow established safety protocols and industry standards to prevent cross-contamination and ensure worker safety. Assist with water damage restoration, flood cleanup, fire restoration, and asbestos abatement as needed. Document work performed using Xactimate or similar estimating software for accurate reporting. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including carpet cleaning and general site sanitation during projects. Requirements Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning is highly preferred. Knowledge of mold remediation techniques, water damage restoration, flood recovery, and fire restoration processes. Ability to respond promptly in emergency situations with on-call coverage availability. Strong understanding of safety protocols including respiratory protection and PPE use. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients. Ability to work effectively with hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment in various environments. Familiarity with Xactimate or similar estimating tools is a plus but not required. Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
