This hands-on position is responsible for performing mold changes, equipment setups, troubleshooting molding processes, and supporting production operations to ensure quality products are manufactured efficiently and safely. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform mold set-ups, start-ups, and shut-downs on production equipment Install, remove, and adjust molds according to production schedules Set up auxiliary equipment and secondary operation equipment as required Monitor molding processes and make basic process adjustments to maintain quality standards Troubleshoot molding and equipment issues to minimize downtime Perform routine equipment maintenance and basic repairs Verify product quality throughout production runs Maintain accurate production and setup documentation Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Minimum of three (3) years of molding production experience Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Excellent attendance and reliability Required Knowledge & Skills Product and manufacturing process knowledge Plastic injection molding processing experience Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulic systems Understanding of mold construction and mold function Ability to identify problems and provide effective solutions Basic knowledge of ISO quality standards Experience working with auxiliary equipment and secondary operations Submission to a criminal background check.
