Job Description
Slitter Operator
- 2nd Shift Sets up, operates, and produces slit products using equipment in a safe manner, following specifications, and ensuring quality products are sent out on time in full. Basic Qualifications Education
- High School Diploma or GED required. Experience
- Vocational training a plus.
- Minimum of 3 yrs. experience in an industrial manufacturing environment operating complex manufacturing equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation practices required.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Level II requires an excellent understanding of GMP requirements and the Oliver Tolas Quality System. Essential Functions
- High degree of attention to detail
- Follows job spec accurately
- Ensures quality of product meets customer requirements
- Reports non-compliant materials to QA immediately or as required by policy. Physical Requirements
- Employee is required to stand, bend, kneel, walk, sit, balance, handle or feel objects; tools or controls; reach with hands and arms.
- Employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision; distance vision; color vision; peripheral vision; depth perception; and the ability to adjust focus.
