JOB DESCRIPTION
As a CNC Router Operator, you will be integral to the manufacturing process, responsible for operating CNC routers to create precision components from various materials. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, your core skills in blueprint reading and mechanical knowledge will ensure high-quality output. You will utilize premium skills such as CNC programming and precision measuring instruments to maintain accuracy. Candidates with carpentry or woodworking experience often transition well into this role due to their familiarity with tools, measurements, and material handling . Effective communication and basic math skills will be essential for collaborating with team members and adhering to quality control standards. RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure CNC machines are fully set up to produce high-quality parts. Meet all production schedules and deadlines. Provide feedback and updates to Management on production metrics and goals. Operate manual milling machine. Diagnose tool wear patterns and determine causes. Provide input into product optimization. Perform open bench quality inspections. Consult with tooling and equipment vendors to find optimal solutions. Work on your feet for 8-hour shifts.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to read and analyze blueprints. Must be detail-oriented. Great math and communication skills. Locking toolbox with essential hand tools to start. Experience with CNC Milling preferred. Carpentry experience or familiarity with woodworking tools, materials, and techniques is strongly preferred.
