Job Duties Trim, sand, and flame injection molded parts for the paint process. Load and unload parts according to the injection schedule and work instructions. Visually inspect parts to ensure they meet customer criteria and work instruction standards. Identify and polish out minor defects using a handheld electrical tool. Maintain a neat, organized work area in accordance with 5S principles. Track and record data for defects, scrap, and repaints. Complete required paperwork to support traceability. Maintain line speed by working at pace required. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial. Experience Requirements Knowledge of rework and scrap procedures/maintain line speed. Experience operating manufacturing or production equipment. Ability to read work instructions, production schedules, and basic technical documentation. Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to monitor equipment for proper operation. Ability to perform quality inspections and maintain production standards. Commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail, and dependable attendance. 2 years machine operating or injection machine operating experience. Preferred Qualifications Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred. Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
